Young Thug turns himself in on Georgia warrant for eight felonies

Suzi Pratt/WireImage via Getty ImagesYoung Thug turned himself into authorities Wednesday in Georgia after a warrant was issued for his arrest for eight felonies.

The rapper, born Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was booked at 2:25 pm by the DeKalb County Sheriff for violations of Georgia’s controlled substance act. He had been performing on the J. Cole KOD tour, and missed Monday’s show in Denver to return to his home state and answer the warrant, according to Billboard. 

As previously reported, Williams was charged with possession and intent to distribute crystal meth, hydrocodone and marijuana; possession of amphetamine and  Alprazolam, two counts for codeine, and also possession of a firearm.
