Xscape member LaTocha Scott shared the news during an impromptu interview in New York with TMZ Wednesday.
“We’re getting ready to do this Verzuz battle with Xscape and SWV its going down May 8th. Y’all better check it out,” says Scott, before calling out SWV’s lead singer. “Yall better check it out. Yall know who I’m rocking with Xscape, Coko, bring ya vocals, baby.”
Scott said the Xscape and SWV matchup was inevitable after fans kept dropping hints to Verzuz co-creators Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.
“Everyone has been asking. It’s great for the culture. It’s going to be big, its going to be epic,” Scott tells
