Queen Latifah and Ludacris have teamed up, and no, it’s not for anything rap-related. The two are actually starring in the upcoming Netflix film End of the Road.
The movie, an action thriller, is about a family road trip gone wrong. Queen plays the role of Brenda, a widowed mother. Brenda, her kids and her brother Reggie (Ludacris) witness a murder and become the targets of a mysterious killer.
The trailer captures Brenda as she fights to keep her family alive.
Directed by Millicent Shelton, End of the Road is set to premiere on September 9. Beau Bridges, Mychala Faith Lee, Shaun Dixon and Frances Lee McCain also star in the film.
