ABC/Randy HolmesTrey Songz has caught a major break in his alleged assault case, Pitchfork has learned.
According to the outlet, the R&B crooner is no longer facing a lawsuit, which stemmed from a February 2018 incident in which a woman named Andrea Buera claimed Songz attacked her at his home.
Buera’s attorney reportedly filed a request for a dismissal of the suit with prejudice on Monday in Superior Court of Los Angeles County. As a result, Buera cannot bring the case before a judge again.
