Cody Burkhardt Christmas came early for students in South Central L.A. on Wednesday: Swae Lee played Santa Claus and arrived with a bag full of gifts.
The Rae Sremmurd member visited the Crete Academy charter school and made it happy holiday, giving out Xbox consoles and Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers T-shirts. He also provided pizza for lunch.
The 26-year-old rapper, who grew up nearby in Inglewood, California, also acknowledged students who’d made the greatest improvements in reading over the year by bringing them up on stage.
