Summer Walker admits to stage fright, would rather “record music and slide it under the door”

BilboardSummer Walker is now gearing up for her headlining The First and Last Tour, kicking off October 26 in San Antonio, Texas — even though she admits she has very bad stage fright.

“Performing gives me so much anxiety,” the 23-year-old singer tells Billboard. “I would be more at peace if I could just record music and slide it under the door.”

Summer is releasing her second album, Over It, on Friday, featuring Usher, Jhene Aiko, Bryson Tiller, PARTYNEXTDOOR, 6lack, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

The album also includes her Drake-assisted remix of “Girls Need Love” which went platinum and hit number two on the Billboard R&B Songs chart.
