Image Courtesy Saint HeronFollowing Solange’s revelation last week that she’s separated from her husband Alan Ferguson, her family is rallying behind her and giving her emotional support.
“[We’re] helping her just work through it. It’s all a process,” her stepfather, Richard Lawson, tells Us Magazine. “And the beautiful thing is that everybody [who] comes out the other side is the better for it.”
The “Cranes in the Sky” singer announced the separation on Instagram on November 1.
“11 years ago I met a phenomenal man who changed every existence of my life,” the Grammy-winner commented. “Early this year we separated and parted ways.”
The couple married on November 16,
