City of Hope, an independent research and treatment center for life-threatening diseases, has announced that the rap veteran will be honored during its annual Songs of Hope charity event. Snoop is set to receive the Sony ATV Music Publishing Social Leadership Award on September 19 in Sherman Oaks, California.
The I Wanna Thank Me lyricist will join a star-studded roster of previously announced honorees, including producer Boi-1da, songwriter Diane Warren, Tierra Whack, Hayley Kiyoko and The Dream.
An “uncle” to many, Snoop’s commitment and passion for community service is commendable. In 2005, he established the Snoop Youth Football League to provide
