Report: Tekashi 6ix9ine scores $10 million deal while in prison

iStock/Natee MeepianTekashi 6ix9ine has reportedly signed a $10 million recording contract while he remains behind bars. 

The rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, inked a deal with his former label, 10K Projects, for one album in English and another in Spanish, according to Billboard.

6ix9ine has been locked up in New York City since being arrested in November 2018 on federal racketeering and firearms charges. He pleaded guilty to the charges and agreed to a deal to have his sentence reduced in exchange for testifying against former bodyguard Anthony “Harv” Ellison, and another former associate, Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack. They were both found guilty on racketeering charges.
