Public memorial for the late Young Dolph set for December 16

Following Tuesday’s private funeral for the late Young Dolph, a public memorial is set for December 16 in Memphis.

Pastor Earle Fisher told ABC Memphis affiliate WATN-TV that the event will be held at the 19,000 seat FedEx Forum, home of the NBA Memphis Grizzlies.

Young Dolph, born Adolph Thornton, Jr., was buried Tuesday at the Calvary Cemetery in South Memphis. “It was good to see his family, his friends, people who have cared for him come together and remember his life,” said Fisher, who spoke at the funeral.
