Supreme teases campaign with André 3000
André 3000 may be far from the limelight these days, but his impact on music and fashion is known throughout the culture, resulting in his upcoming collaboration with Supreme.
The streetwear brand teased fans on Saturday, posting a photo of the “Hey Ya” rapper on Instagram. In the photo, André dons a white tee with the infamous red logo, pairing it with an olive green jacket, white and black plaid overalls and a red hat.
Supreme then followed up with a video of André on set, imparting words of wisdom to the camera. “If I ain’t creating nothing, I don’t feel good,” he says. “You know, so at a certain point you gotta feed yourself and sometimes you can’t feed on mimicking.”
“But you gotta put the time in to figure out who you are and what you not, too. A lot of times what you not is very important,” he continues. “You know, cuz you can want to be something but your strength is actually in something else. That is what makes you start to do your own thing, and that’s when your skin starts to breathe and you start to like get into your primal self.”
“And your primal self is your best contribution to the planet,” André concludes.
Fans believe the photo of Three Stacks, taken by Brooklyn photographer Deana Lawson, will be featured on Supreme’s seasonal portrait tee, which previously featured Nas, Gucci Mane and Three 6 Mafia. The brand’s fall/winter 2022 collection will be revealed in a few days.

Rapper Fetty Wap pleads guilty to federal drug charges in New York
Rapper Fetty Wap pleaded guilty on Monday in a New York federal court to conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances.
The hip-hop star, born Willie Junior Maxwell II, was indicted in September 2021 for allegedly conspiring to distribute heroin and fentanyl in Long Island.
He now faces a five-year mandatory minimum sentence and remains in custody after his bond was revoked earlier this month.
Maxwell was arrested on October 28, 2021, during the Rolling Loud Music Festival in Queens, New York. He and five others were charged with conspiring to distribute and possess controlled substances across Long Island and New Jersey.
Maxwell initially pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was released on a $500,000 bond on November 5, 2021, but was arrested in New Jersey on August 8 on charges he violated the conditions of his pretrial release.
The rapper displayed a gun and threatened to kill “John Doe” during a December 11, 2021, FaceTime call, according to federal prosecutors.
The FBI obtained a video recording of the call in which Fetty Wap “is shown holding a gun and pointing it towards John Doe,” according to the affidavit.
“The defendant then says to John Doe ‘Imma kill you and everybody you with,’ which he then repeats one more time. The defendant then continues to threaten John Doe, saying ‘I’m gonna kill you,’ a threat which he repeats several more times throughout the video call,” the affidavit said.
ABC News has reached out to the rapper’s representatives but a request for comment was not immediately returned.
A sentencing date has yet to be set in this case.

Chloe x Halle grace the cover of 'Essence'
Chloe and Halle Bailey have been focusing on their individual careers, occasionally reuniting for festival performances, possibly family-related events and now the cover of Essence. In the magazine’s September/October issue, the sister duo opens up about their lives as solo artists and women who are continuing to grow into their own.
Chloe has become somewhat of a viral sensation since embarking on her solo career. She’s released singles and videos for songs “Have Mercy,” “Treat Me” and “Surprise,” as well as a slew of covers and sexy social media pictures — most of which see her flaunting her vocals and chords. Though she appears to exude confidence, she admits that she doesn’t always feel that way.
“As much as people think I’m so confident, 80% of the time I feel the complete opposite of that. That’s why I put so much of myself into my music. That’s where I feel like myself and where I belong in this life—whenever I’m onstage,” Chloe said.
Her upcoming album, she adds, captures emotions she’s felt from “all the tearing down” and sees her “breaking free” from society’s expectations.
Halle is preparing for the release of The Little Mermaid remake. With time away from Chloe, she tapped into her individuality with a little help from God.
“I’ve managed to find individuality through God—through talking to God every day by prayer, by meditation and through music,” she explained. “I think finding myself is going to be an everlasting journey. And while I feel like I know myself at 22, I’m constantly getting to know more about who I am.”
She also addressed her relationship with rapper DDG, who she’s been a fan of for years. When asked if she’s in love, she replied, “Yes. For sure I am.”
