The Weeknd is stepping into the kitchen and whipping up a special treat to celebrate his tour.

In celebration of his weekend stint at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Billboard reports the Grammy winner teamed with Postmates and Monty’s Good Burger for a tasty collaboration. This one-time-only menu centers around a plant-based burger served on a brioche bun and slathered with chipotle ketchup and pickles.

It also comes with tater tots with a spicy habanero-flavored dipping sauce as well as a limited-edition lemonade with activated charcoal in it.

The special meal will cost you $27.99 on Postmates and will also be wrapped up in limited edition packaging celebrating The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour.

In addition, Monty’s Good Burger will be serving up a once-only After Hours shake, retailing at $9.99, that’s flavored with white chocolate and cherries.

Those who want to try the special menu but may not want to cough up the cash can hit up Monty’s located on Los Angeles’ Third Street to possibly snag one of a limited amount of free meals.

Those who pick up the free grub will be entered to win tickets to see The Weeknd perform on September 3.

Sales will benefit the XO Humanitarian Fund, which is run by the United Nations World Food Programme. This charity is focused on ending hunger and provides food to those struggling with famine.

The Weeknd said in a statement, “For the XO Humanitarian Fund we thought it would be amazing to be able to donate money to people suffering from hunger through our work with World Food Program USA and have an After Hours late night meal from one of our favorite places in LA.”

Prince estate halts “Purple Rain” energy drink

Richard E. Aaron/Redferns

Following a protest from the Prince estate, a judge has ruled that an energy drink cannot trademark the name “Purple Rain.”

Billboard reports a judge said Bang Energy could not trademark their drink’s name because it is “uniquely and unmistakably” connected to the late singer.

Following the ruling, Bang Energy CEO Jack Owoc explained to Billboard that he was “a big fan” of the iconic artist and would not appeal.

“We greatly respect Prince and his estate and will not ‘rain’ on their parade. Maybe we can negotiate a deal in the future that is mutually beneficial to both parties,” he said.

Attorney Londell McMillan, who represents one group of Prince heirs, told Billboard he was pleased the trademark application was rejected.

“Prince’s music, art and trademarks hold a special place in our society and culture. Purple Rain is a Prince mark and brand known worldwide,” he continued. “Please respect these unique assets or suffer at your own peril.”

Purple Rain earned an Oscar in 1985 for Best Original Song Score plus Grammy Awards for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media and Best Rock Performance by a Duo Or Group with Vocal.

Kanye West is once again ranting on Instagram, this time aiming his fire at Gap because he says the company held a meeting about his clothing without him.

He is also accusing the executives of stealing designs from the Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection.

The Donda rapper says he plans to end his association with Gap and open his own retail stores.

“The Vision will be realized. Let’s start with stores in Atlanta,” Ye says on Instagram. His posts included snippets of his angry monologue in front of Gap execs in which he voices his dissatisfaction with the company’s direction.

Kanye also gave the company officials an ultimatum.

“You really have to give me the position to do what I’m thinking,” he says, “or I’m going to have to do what I’m thinking somewhere else.”

Yeezy began recruiting workers, calling for anyone “who has over 10 years of retail experience and is ready to change the world” to contact his team via his IG comments.

Tyrese ordered to pay over $10,000 in monthly child support to estranged wife

Tyrese was ordered in a divorce hearing to pay over $10,000 a month in child support to his estranged wife, Samantha Lee Gibson.

Fulton County, Georgia, Judge Kevin F. Farmer ruled that Samantha will receive $10,690 per month, according to TMZ. She will split child care and education costs for their 3-year-old daughter, Soraya, with the singer/actor.

Tyrese will also pay the same amount in child support to his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell. They share 15-year-old daughter Shayla, who lives in California.

Farmer declared Tyrese and Samantha legally single and denied spousal support for each party.

“This is not a punishment for you,” the judge told the 43-year-old entertainer. “Put that money where it belongs, in the child. … I want you both to love your kid, and I want you both to tell your kid to love the other parent, because that’s how we get successful human beings.”

“Nobody won here and nobody lost,” Farmer continued. “The kid lost, because she doesn’t have her parents together. Minimize the effects of that loss. Minimize it in every way, shape and form you can.”

Tyrese and Samantha married on Valentine’s Day in 2017. She filed for divorce in September 2020, and claimed that he cut her off financially and locked her out of their house. Samantha had requested $20,000 in monthly child support.

A star-studded audience filled the stands while Serena Williams played under the lights during the second round of the U.S. Open on Wednesday night.

Celebrities across all industries — entertainment, music and sports — came to support Williams in one of her last singles matches as a professional tennis player.

Although all eyes were on Williams, here are a few famous faces spotted in the crowd, including Zendaya, Tiger Woods, Dionne Warwick, fashion icon Anna Wintour, Oscar winners Jared Leto and Spike Lee, and tennis legends Billie Jean King and Serena’s already-retired sister, Venus.

Serena, who announced her “evolution” away from tennis earlier this month in a personal essay in Vogue, battled 26-year-old WTA #2-ranked player, Anett Kontaveit of Estonia.

Williams won in three sets, 7-6, 2-6, 6-2, in an upset victory for the 40-year-old legend in what could be her last-ever tournament.
