Steven Ferdman/WireImage
The Weeknd is gearing up to debut the next chapter in his critically-acclaimed music catalog.
Thursday night, the “Worth It” crooner posted several studio-set images on Instagram, which seem to indicate that he’s been cooking up new material.
In the first photo of the set — a pixilated selfie — The Weeknd is seen sitting in front of a recording studio mixing board. It’s captioned “flip phone.” Another post is a brief video that shows Abel sitting listening to David Bowie‘s classic “Starman.”
He also posted a photo of a mean-looking Dobermann Pinscher, which he’s captioned “executive producer.”
The singer also was spotted in a Instagram Story update on Canadian producer DaHeala‘s account, in which he’s pictured in a recording studio. The Weeknd and DaHeala previously linked for his debut album Kiss Land.
The Grammy-winning artist revealed the arrival of Chapter VI back in November, during a tour stop in Toronto. The forthcoming project from The Weeknd will serve as a follow-up to last year’s six-track EP My Dear Melancholy.

Beyonce's company being sued because her website allegedly violates the Americans with Disabilities Act

Beyoncé‘s official website is at the center of a class action lawsuit, the Hollywood Reporter has learned.
According to the report, a New York woman named Mary Conner is taking legal action against the singer’s Parkwood Entertainment company. Conner claims that Beyonce.com violates the Americans With Disabilities Act because it allegedly denies “equal access” to visually-impaired visitors.
In the suit, Conner claims to have “no vision whatsoever” and has asked the court for an injunction forcing Parkwood to revamp the site to comply with the ADA.
Conner’s attorney Dan Shaked further claims that his client “dreams” of one day experiencing a live performance from the Everything Is Love star. However, Conner has “encountered numerous barriers which limited her accessibility to the goods and services offered on the website.”
The online portal, which serves as a hub for all things Bey, features select images from the Grammy-winning artist’s most recent performances as well as an intimate look at her personal life. The photos in particular are being deemed by Shaked as having an “accessibility” problem because they lack any captions or a text equivalent.
Neither Beyonce nor Parkwood Entertainment have yet to publicly address the suit.

Epic Records
Future is getting right down to business in 2019.
On Friday, the Atlanta hip-hop titan delivered a brand new single and music video for his latest effort, “Crushed Up.” Propelled by icy 808s, Future raps over the high-energy track about his affinity for diamonds.
Under the direction of Spike Jordan, the cinematic visual begins with a young Future peering into a snow globe inside of a desolate, abandoned home. The HNDRXX rapper is then transported into a snowbound dreamscape inside of an eerie mansion.

Chris Brown/RCA Records
Chris Brown is kicking off the new year with his latest offering “Undecided.”
On Friday, the R&B crooner gifted fans with the buzzy track as well as an accompanying visual. In the colorful video, Brown and his cronies trespass into a desolate amusement park only to be whisked away into an alternate universe. The “Freaky Friday” singer later finds himself engaging into a spirited dance battle against Empire star Serayah.
The record, which is an interpolation of the 1991 hit “I Love Your Smile,” serves as the first official single from the R&B crooners highly-anticipated ninth studio album INDIGO. Set for release at some point this year, INDIGOmarks Brown’s first release under a new license agreement with his long-time label home, RCA Records. It will also serve as a follow-up to the Virginia native’s 45-song LP Heartbreak on a Full Moon back in 2017.
Brown’s newly inked deal with RCA not only extends their partnership, but also allows the decorated singer to become one of the youngest recording artists to ever own any of his master recordings.

Trae Patton/NBC
John Legend is doubling down on his support of R. Kelly‘s alleged abuse victims.
Following the airing of Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly documentary, in which Legend appears, the R&B crooner took to Twitter to expound on why he chose to participate in the series.
“To everyone telling me how courageous I am for appearing in the doc, it didn’t feel risky at all,” he wrote. “I believe these women and don’t give a f*** about protecting a serial child rapist. Easy decision.”
Legend continued by recognizing the shocking expose’s producer Dream Hampton for her work. “We should all thank my friend @dreamhampton for her very necessary work to create #SurvivingRKelly,” he added. “These survivors deserved to be lifted up and heard. I hope it gets them closer to some kind of justice.”
In the wake of the premiere, Twitter also became a firestorm of reactions. While some devoted fans simply refused to be swayed, others were appalled by the salacious details of Kelly’s alleged illicit acts with under-aged women.
The remaining episodes of Surviving R. Kelly are set to air tonight and Saturday at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
