Dennis Leupold“Love Lies,” Normani and Khalid‘s duet from the soundtrack of the film Love, Simon, has now reached #1 on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart. In doing so, it’s set a number of notable chart milestones.
First, the double platinum “Love Lies” is the first song from a soundtrack to top the Pop Songs chart since 2016, when Justin Timberlake‘s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!,” from Trolls, was #1 for three weeks.
Next, Fifth Harmony becomes the third group to have at least two members reach #1 on the Pop Songs chart.
