No. 1 ranked Carlos Alcaraz withdraws from Davis Cup with hamstring injury

World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz has pulled out of this week’s Davis Cup Finals in Bologna after doctors advised him to rest a swollen right hamstring, ending his hopes of leading Spain in Thursday’s quarterfinal against the Czech Republic.
