TTT/Gang Starr Enterprises, LLC.A new Gang Starr album, titled One of the Best Yet, will drop next month, and it features unreleased vocals by duo’s legendary MC, Guru, who passed away in 2010.
DJ Premier made the announcement on Instagram, posting the album’s cover art: a framed throwback photo of himself and Guru, propped up in back of a turntable and a microphone. He also debuted a new single titled ”Bad Name.”
One of the Best Yet will be Gang Starr’s seventh studio album, arriving 16 years after their previous album, The Ownerz, in 2003.
