Michelle Williams’ fiancé Chad Johnson explains why he saved for 11 years for their engagement ring: “It was an act of faith”

Courtesy of OWNWhen Michelle Williams became engaged to Chad Johnson in April, one year after they met, he had been saving for the engagement ring for 11 years. Johnson had been putting money aside all those years, praying that he would finally meet the woman of his dreams.

“It was an act of faith for me,” Johnson tells ABC Radio. “I was like, you know what? I’m going to open up a ring account, and I’m going to believe every month that my wife is on her way.”
