ABC/Randy HolmesTrey Songz is paying tribute to Jill Scott with his new song, titled, “Jill (Sumn Real).”
On the track, Trey samples Scott’s single, “He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat)”, from her 2001 live double album, Experience: Jill Scott 826+. The song’s cover art also features a photo of Scott performing.
Trey’s tribute comes one week after Twitter exploded with shocked reactions to a video of Scott simulating a sex act during a recent concert.
Songz recently dropped “Shooting Shots,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Torey Lanez, and “How Dat Sound,” featuring 2 Chainz and Yo Gotti, from his upcoming movie, Blood Brother, which opens November 30.
