Kodak Black avoids more prison time with plea bargain in sexual assault case

Kodak Black will not be going back to prison after he reportedly agreed to a plea deal Wednesday for a sexual assault charge.

The “Zeze” rapper was originally indicted on a first-degree sexual misconduct charge for allegedly assaulting a teenage girl in a hotel room in Florence County, South Carolina in 2016 following a club performance, and faced ten years in jail if convicted. But according to WBTW in Myrtle Beach, SC, the 23-year-old, born Dieuson Octave, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of first-degree assault and battery, with the victim’s permission.
