R&B singer Kehlani is one of today’s most unapologetic artists, who isn’t afraid to discuss her sexuality.
The 25-year-old mom, who identifies as queer, says she appreciates being part of a generation that discusses sexual identity more openly than ever.
“Beyond even being celebrated, we get so much education from one another,” Kehlani tells LGBTQ magazine, The Advocate. “There are so many people willing to have conversations where people who don’t understand can potentially understand. So many people are willing to have teachable moments.”
