ABC/Paula LoboJason Derulo has signed on to the upcoming Cats movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The multi-platinum singer behind such hits as “Talk Dirty” and “Want to Want Me” will play Rum Tum Tugger, a “rebellious and never satisfied” feline known for its hip-gyrating moves.
Directed by Tom Hooper, the movie is set for release in late 2019 and boasts an impressive cast from the worlds of music and movies, including Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, Idris Elba and Judi Dench.
