Idris Elba signs lucrative children's book deal with HarperCollins

Maarten de Boer/Contour Idris Elba is about to add a brand new feather to his cap after signing a multi-book deal with HarperCollins.  The Luther alum is about to become an official children’s book author.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Elba, 48, has teamed with writing partner Robyn Charteris to bring a series of picture and chapter books to life.

Fans of the British actor can get their hands on his first book in 2022.

When asked by THR about the book deal, said Elba, “I feel privileged to have the opportunity to bring stories inspired by my daughter to life with my incredible partner Robyn Charteris, and the powerhouse
