“We listened, this is not a drill in honor of the great legacy of #Aaliyah,” her uncle, Barry Hankerson, tweeted from his private Twitter account, as captured by That Grapejuice. He tagged Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL and Amazon Prime, and ended the tweet, “1/16/2020.”
Hankerson was Aaliyah’s first manager, and he signed her to his label, Blackground Records.
