Grammys 2021: Lil Baby calls for equality during “The Bigger Picture” performance

Lil Baby didn’t take home any Grammys on Sunday night, but he did take the stage to perform his record “The Bigger Picture.”

Through staged scenes of protests, riots and a fatal ending to a Black man interacting with police, the rapper’s performance brought to life the track, which is a song he wrote in the wake of George Floyd‘s killing.

In between rapping lyrics that called for justice against police brutality and an end to systemic racism, Lil Baby allowed for a woman to deliver a short but strong message which at one point was addressed
