“Freedom Rings”: Brandy celebrates the 25th anniversary of debut album with new song

Entertainment OneBrandy is celebrating the 25th anniversary of her self-titled debut album by releasing a new single called “Freedom Rings.”

Brandy’s debut arrived September 27, 1994. It went on to sell four million copies, and it earned her a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. The album’s first two singles, “Baby” and “I Wanna Be Down,” both hit number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

It’s been a minute since we had any new solo music from Brandy. “Freedom Rings” follows her 2016 single “Beggin & Pleadin”, and her 2012 album Two Eleven.  In the new song, she sings, “I can hear the clouds
