Frank Ocean and Travis Scott settle dispute over Ocean’s vocals on “Astroworld”

Josh Brasted/WireImageA dispute between Frank Ocean and Travis Scott over Ocean’s vocals on Scott’s new album Astroworld has been settled.

It was reported by TMZ that Ocean was not pleased with changes in his recorded vocals, prompting his lawyers to send a cease and desist order to Scott demanding that his part on the song “Carousel” be removed.

Now Ocean has announced that he actually approved the mix, and he has resolved the situation with the Houston rapper.

“I think the song sounds cool, I did it in like 20 minutes and the mix sounds the way Travis wanted it to sound for his record. I also approved it before
