CupcakKe hospitalized after posting suicidal tweet, receives outpouring of support

The artist, born Elizabeth Harris, shared that she was “about to commit suicide” via Twitter, as well as on her Instagram account.

“Thank you for everything y’all have done for me, I really appreciate it,” she captioned a screenshot of the disturbing tweet. 

The comment quickly sparked an outpouring of love and support for CupcakKe, with many urging her to seek help. Notably, close collaborator Charli XCX penned an open letter to the “CPR” lyricist in which she refers to her as “one of the most unique, genuine, and loving people I have
