On Sunday, February 28 at 7 p.m. ET, a star-studded list of actors, activists and political figures will gather together for a surprise live virtual party for Belafonte ahead of his upcoming birthday on March 1.
Referred to as ‘The Gathering for Harry,’ the virtual event will include special performances and appearances from Common, Danny Glover, Chuck D, Bernie and Jane Sanders, Stacey Abrams, Aloe Blacc, Tamika D. Mallory, and Rev. Al Sharpton, among others.
The special gathering will also feature video tributes and testimonials
