Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow recovering well from knee injury, on track to play Week One

(CINCINNATI) — Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will be ready to go when the team opens up the 2021 season against the Minnesota Vikings in September, Dr. Neal ElAttrache said Tuesday.

“He’s on track for full go for start of the season,” ElAttrache told ESPN in a text message. “He’s doing all the work. He’s worked his tail off and been an amazingly mature participant in his recovery.”

Burrow had said that he hoped to be ready for the start of the 2021 season after tearing his ACL last year and undergoing reconstructive left knee
