Drake follows with seven nominations, and Beyoncé and Lizzo each received six nominations, according to Billboard. Khalid is up for five awards. J. Cole is nominated in four categories, and H.E.R., Ari Lennox and Summer Walker each received three nominations.
Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, whose production credits include hits with Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, New Edition, Mary J. Blige and Usher, will be presented with the Legend Award. Gospel star Yolanda Adams will receive the Lady of Soul Award.
Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, who starred together in Martin, will return as hosts for the second time.
