ABC/Randy HolmesCardi B reconfirmed her support for Bernie Sanders for president Thursday as she celebrated her 27th birthday a day early at the Vogue Forces of Fashion conference in New York City.
The Hustlers star said she is still behind Sanders despite his recent heart attack.
“I’m saying he’s very passionate about people,” Cardi told the crowd. “There’s some people that are, like, natural humanitarians. They just want to take care of the world that they love, saving the planet. They want to see equal rights. He’s been doing that for a long time….That’s one thing I love about him.”
