“Contrary to what has been prematurely, insensitively, and inaccurately posted/reported – My dad IS NOT dead, he’s still alive and fighting for his life,” reads the message on Bushwick Bill’s official Instagram. “He needs your continued prayers and support.”
Although the message’s author doesn’t identify himself by name, Bushwick Bill’s son is Javon Boutte.
