Buccaneers QB Tom Brady blasts new NFL jersey number rule

(NEW YORK) — Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady ripped the NFL’s new jersey number rules in multiple posts on his Instagram story.

The new rules allow tight ends, wide receivers, running backs, linebackers, and defensive backs to wear single digit numbers. That was previously only allowed for quarterbacks, kickers, and punters.

In a post on his Instagram story, Brady wrote over a screenshot of the new numbers allowed.

“Good luck trying to block the right people now!” Brady wrote in the post. “Going to make for a lot of bad football!”
