Brandy reveals her dream is to release a rap album

Brandy stars with Naturi Naughton, Eve and Nadine Velazquez as former rap stars hoping to make a comeback in the new ABC series, Queens.

Brandy has enjoyed tremendous success as a singer during her 27-year recording career, including the number-one hits “I Wanna Be Down,” “Baby,” “Ever You Ever?” and “The Boy Is Mine” with Monica. However, she reveals that she’s always wanted to release a rap album.

“You know, that’s secretly my dream,” Brandy tells ABC Audio. “I’ve been going on and on about rapping for years. And so to land this role with Queens, it is divine. I can’t even believe it. It’s a dream role. I
