Boxing champ Gervonta Davis arrested in Miami after two-week manhunt

Boxing star Gervonta “Tank” Davis was taken into custody Wednesday night in Miami, ending a two-week search tied to serious criminal allegations. Authorities arrested the 31-year-old former three-division world champion on charges of battery, false imprisonment, and attempted kidnapping. The Miami Gardens Police Department, working alongside the U.S. Marshals fugitive task force, located Davis in the Miami Design District and apprehended him without incident. He was later booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
