ABC/Fred LeeThe long drawn-out legal battle over Robin Thicke‘s 2013 hit “Blurred Lines, involving Pharrell Williams and Marvin Gaye‘s estate, has finally come to a pricey end.
The artists behind the buzzy single have been ordered by Judge John A. Kronstadt to pay the family of the “What’s Going On” singer $5 million, Billboard reports. The hefty sum includes Thicke, Williams and Williams’ publishing company owing a combined $2.9 million, plus an additional $1.7 million required to be paid by Thicke and some $357,631 from Williams and his More Water From Nazareth company.
As previously reported, the Gaye family sued Thicke and Williams in 2013 for copyright infringement of the
