All hail the queen: Nicki Minaj is the first female artist with 100 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100

Republic RecordsNicki Minaj is living up to the name of her latest album, Queen. She’s made chart history as the first female artist to notch 100 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The “Anaconda” rapper hits the chart this week for the 100th time as the featured artist on Tyga’s “Dip,” which debuts at number 83.  Her other chart appearances are a combination of features, and songs on which she’s the lead artist.

Only four other acts have scored 100 or more appearances on the Hot 100. The Glee Cast leads with 207 entries, followed by Nicki’s label mates Drake — with 191 — and Lil Wayne, with 160. Elvis Presleyfollows with 108
