After Mac Miller's death, J.Cole urges people in need: “reach out to me”

Photo by Tim Mosenfelder/Getty ImagesFollowing Mac Miller‘s sudden death from a suspected overdose on Friday, fellow rapper J. Cole took to Twitter with a plea to others facing personal struggles.

“This is a message for anybody in this game that’s going through something,” Cole tweeted on Friday. “If you don’t feel right, if you feel you have a substance problem, if you need a ear to vent to. If you uncomfortable talking to people around you. Please reach out to me.”

Footage from a J. Cole concert went viral on Sunday, as he appeared to shed tears talking about Miller’s death.
