$750 million Astroworld Festival lawsuit filed against Travis Scott and Drake

Travis Scott, Drake, and the promoters of the Astroworld Festival are named in a $750 million lawsuit filed Tuesday on behalf of victims of the tragedy.

Attorney Tony Buzbee filed the lawsuit for 125 victims, including Axel Acosta, 21, who was one of 10 people who died from injuries suffered November 5 during the event, People reports, when the crowd of 50,000 surged toward the stage.

Buzbee’s legal team said Acosta’s death “was needless, and was the result of gross negligence.”
