2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame Inductees include Taylor Swift, Alanis Morissette and more

The Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 inductees, which is comprised of three non-performing songwriters or songwriting teams (Walter Afanasieff, Terry Britten & Graham Lyle and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart), as well as four performing songwriters or songwriting teams (Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette and Taylor Swift). At 36 years old, Taylor Swift becomes the youngest woman ever to be inducted into the SHOF. The Songwriters Hall of Fame was established in 1969 to honor those creating popular music. A songwriter with a notable catalog of songs qualifies for SHOF induction 20 years
