2 Chainz partners with Atlantic Records to distribute his T.R.U. label

ABC/Randy Holmes2 Chainz has found a home for his independent label T.R.U. — which stands for The Real University —  at Atlantic Records.

“I’m excited on the new venture, building from the ground up.  My biggest goal is to play a part in changing someone’s life and make them a millionaire,” the Atlanta rapper tells Billboard. “I treat the record label as school with various levels. That’s why we refer to it as ‘The Real University.’ It’s a course you go through.”

The Grammy-winner is featuring three of his T.R.U. label artists, Sleepy Rose, WORL, and Hott Locked N, on a new track, “Shoot It Out,”
