John Legend brings “Glory” to Ohio as he campaigns for candidates

ABC/Paula LoboJohn Legend campaigned for Democratic candidates over the weekend in his home state of Ohio, and he sang a line from his Oscar- and Grammy-winning song “Glory” to encourage the crowd to vote.

Speaking at a rally Sunday in Cincinnati, the EGOT winner sang, “One day…Tuesday…when the glory comes, it will be ours, it will be ours. Oh, glory.”

Legend is supporting Rich Cordray for governor and Sherrod Brown for Senate. He also posted a photo with former Attorney General Eric Holder and commented, “Ohio, did you know that EVERY SINGLE state House seat (99 total!) is up for election this year? These positions are crucial for redistricting.
