Candace Owens apologizes to Kanye West for Blexit t-shirt misunderstanding

ABC/Randy HolmesAfter Kanye West tweeted that his name had been used without permission to promote the anti-Democrat organization Blexit, the group’s communications director Candace Owens is apologizing.

It was reported that Kanye designed shirts for the organization, but he clarified that he does not support Blexit, which is short for “black exit from Democratic Party.”

He insisted that he’d merely “introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.”
