R&B star Kehlani has revealed plans for her fifth studio album, a self-titled project arriving April 24—coinciding with her 31st birthday. The 17-track release, issued through Atlantic Records, follows her 2024 album Crash and marks a deeply personal chapter in her career.

Titled simply ‘Kehlani,’ the album centers on themes of love, change, vulnerability, and growth, presenting the singer at her most open and reflective. Two songs from the project, “Folded” and “Out The Window,” were released ahead of the album, with “Folded” earning major recognition and helping secure her first Grammy wins in the R&B categories earlier this year. She also performed the track on A COLORS SHOW, further building anticipation.

Alongside the standard release, limited-edition alternate cover versions will be made available through her official channels. Fans can also expect to see Kehlani onstage this summer, including a scheduled appearance at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture. Kehlani will also be honored with the Impact Award at the upcoming Billboard Women in Music, where she will deliver a special performance in celebration of her influence on music and culture.

Kehlani first rose to prominence on America’s Got Talent as part of the group PopLyfe before launching a solo career with early mixtapes Cloud 19 and You Should Be Here. Since then, she has built an impressive résumé that includes multiple Grammy wins, numerous platinum and gold certifications, and billions of global streams—solidifying her place as one of contemporary R&B’s leading voices.
