August Alsina's new song seemingly addresses his relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith

August Alsina has entered the chat. 

The singer dropped a new track Tuesday, called “Shake the World,” and that’s just what he might be trying to do.

The new song comes at time when conversation around “the slap” — Will Smith smacking Chris Rock in the face at the Oscars, in case you somehow missed it — is still at an all-time high. 

The first verse of August’s song goes, “I heard I was cancelled (Hmm) // Well, let’s speak on that // Red dot on my back, I became a target // And I’m flawed but flawless, that’s what makes me August.”
