Drake and Cardi B lead all artists at the 2018 American Music Awards, with eight nominations.
Drake’s nominations include Favorite Artist of the Year and Favorite Album Rap/Hip-Hop, for Scorpion. Cardi’s nods include Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock, New Artist of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year for “Finesse,” with Bruno Mars
Drake and Cardi will compete against each other for Favorite Artist Rap/Hip-Hop. Her breakout song, “Bodak Yellow,” and his “God’s Plan” from Scorpion, are also both up for Favorite Song Rap/Hip-Hop and Favorite Music Video.
Post Malone received six nods. Bruno Mars and Khalid are both up for four awards.
