Jonathan MannionElla Mai says she named her latest EP Ready because she was “ready for whatever’s next in my life” — and now she’s “ready” to finish her much-anticipated, first full-length album.
“We’re still working on the album. So we’re gonna wrap that up and hopefully put that out this year,” Mai tells ABC Radio. “That’s my main focus right now, the album, and, I think, working on my sound a little bit more and elevating it from the EPs to make it a little bit more musical, and content-wise, a little bit deeper.”
