Rapper Pooh Shiesty sentenced to more than five years in prison

Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty has been sentenced to 63 months in prison for his role in a Florida gun conspiracy, Rolling Stone reports. 

The 22-year-old rising star, born Lontrell Donell Williams Jr., pleaded guilty in January to a single firearms conspiracy charge for his alleged involvement in a Miami robbery in October of 2020 that left one person shot in the buttocks. He was indicted in June 2021 on four related charges, including one with a possible life sentence, but three of the four were dropped earlier this year.
