“Remove Kanye from Coachella!” petition nears goal of 35,000 signatures

A change.org petition created with hopes of convincing organizers to remove Kanye West from the upcoming Coachella music and arts festival surpassed 30,000 signatures as of mid-afternoon Tuesday. 

The petition demands that the rapper be removed as the Day 3 headliner due to his recent public shots at his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, and her boyfriend Pete Davidson.

“We have watched Kanye harass, manipulate, and hurt Kim, Pete, and others for over a year now. No one seems to want to stand up to him, and the ones that do, he puts under fire as well,” the petition reads. “Most recently, he has been threatening
