BET has announced actress and philanthropist Taraji P. Henson as the host for the 2021 BET Awards later this month.
Whereas last year’s awards show was virtual, this year showcase will be live in front of a vaccinated audience. It’s going to be a ladies night, according to this year’s theme, celebrating the “Year of the Black Woman” for their “immense impact on the culture.”
